Fall Football

You won't believe the pickle I'm in with football games. I can't enjoy them unless I know the score beforehand—it's like my TV has a secret power to suck the fun out of the game. So, I used to steer clear of football nights altogether. But then, my wife convinced me to go for Fubo, this streaming thing with more Hallmark channels than we know what to do with and a whopping 1000 hours of recording.

Here's my slick strategy: I only record the games that really grab my attention. If my team clinches the win, it's game time, and I watch the whole shebang. But, if they tank, I've got my escape route—YouTube highlights. Less stress, more enjoyment, you know?

Now, here's the kicker: sometimes, to make room for my football fix, I've gotta sacrifice a Hallmark Christmas in July movie. Mum's the word on that one, okay? Let's keep it between us.
